What the firm has certified
By displaying this mark, the firm has declared to NativeLaw that:
It is regulated by the SRA, or an equivalent legal regulator, with at least one solicitor holding a current practising certificate.
It uses AI on at least one workflow or matter type.
A named solicitor reviews and signs every AI-assisted output before it reaches a client.
It keeps a record of who signed off and when.
A named person is responsible for its AI use.
How the mark works
AI-Hybrid is a self-certified mark. The firm made the declaration above, and NativeLaw recorded it with a date and a reference. It is not an independent audit of the firm's work.
NativeLaw may vary, suspend or withdraw the mark at any time, at its absolute discretion. NativeLaw certifies the operating discipline around a firm's use of AI, not the firm's legal advice, which remains the firm's own professional responsibility.
Two marks
AI-Hybrid is the starting mark: self-declared, for a regulated firm using AI on some of its workflows under supervision. AI-Native is the full standard: independently verified and monitored, for a firm that operates that way across every matter type, with every output supervised, signed and recorded.
